Rated 4 out of 5 by from A very good Purchase I now own two of these cameras. One of my cameras has been running without problems for nearly two years. The quality and feature set are excellent. Not all of the camera's features are available at the same time however. I believe this to be a limitation of the camera's processor. The camera will stream at 720p (actually a bit greater) and compress to a h.264 stream. However in this mode the motion, sound, and shock sensors are disabled. To use all the above simultaneously you must set the camera to a 640 x 480 resolution. I've had no problem with the audio. The microphone is very sensitive and mine easily hooked up to a loudspeaker.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Overall good, but improvements needed I purchased this camera several months ago. Overall, I would say that it's very good from a clarity standpoint and funcationality. However, the biggest problem with it is that the audio function just does not work good at all. At first with a 30gb fiber line it worked, but then after a while it just stopped. Their .ocx ActiveX add-in has some serious flaws. If you want an excellent camera and don't care about the audio, this is the one for you. If you're looking for one that the audio will continue to work, then look at other Panasonic cameras. I have several of the outdoor 371 cameras that work fine. I should've stuck with one of those rather than purchasing this one.
