BB-HCM547A is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent camera I installed this camera outdoors where the temp can get down to -20F. It has worked flawlessly and I am extremely impressed with all it's features. It can pan nearly 360 degrees and tilt nearly 90 degrees. Thus, it can see it's entire southern hemisphere. The camera administrator can set operational limits for different users, and/or provide a fixed picture for people who do not actually log in to the camera with a password. The internet setup can be a little challenging for someone not very familiar with networking, etc. But, an easy call to Panasonic's tech support showed me that the people at Panasonic are very well trained and will help you out with whatever questions or help you might need. For the money, this camera and Panasonic's great service can't be beat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best features for the money I purchased this camera because I needed one that was outdoor ready (I live in Alaska) and had lots of features. I am happy with the pan/tilt/zoom features, color, web interface, and POE ability. I also found it very useful to be able to take motion activated video and continuous still pictures at the same time. If you want to use POE and onboard memory, remember to buy a POE power supply (if you don't have a POE switch) and a SD card (16GB works great). They are not included. Few features I expected were missing. For example, the ability to take pictures in different directions at programmed times. I also wish it had a motion detection grid like i've seen in other cameras--so I can set the video recorder to only activate when someone enters my driveway and not every time a car drives by on the street. Low light is fairly good--catch the moose eating my trees at night. Will have a better idea this Winter when it actually gets dark =). Will see how well it handle the cold too. Weak zoom (only 2.3x optical). But I knew this when purchasing it. Higher zoom cameras were much more expensive. Overall I recommend the camera. If they fix the two missing features mentioned above in a future software upgrade I would be happy to give it 5 stars. As is, I give it 4.
