A DLNA certified media server, such as a Windows 7 personal computer, needs to be connected to the same network as your TV. Once the DLNA server is configured on this network, press the [VIERA TOOLS] button on the remote control and select DLNA. Next, you will be prompted to select the DLNA server you wish to connect to. The picture format in the TV or connected device may be set to ZOOM. An optical cable can be connected to the TV to send audio from the TV to a digital to analog audio converter.  A digital to analog audio converter can convert audio from the television's "Digital Audio Output" and send the audio to your headphones or home theater system using an RCA connection.

Connect an HDMI cable to the HDMI connection on the back of the TV labeled HDMI 1 (ARC). Then connect the other end of the HDMI cable to an ARC-enabled HDMI connection on your A/V receiver.
