Rated 5 out of 5 by So Surprised! I have owned Panasonic shavers for over 20 years and the RT51 is my best experience yet. I have had several more expensive models yet I'm getting my most enjoyable shaving experience from the lower cost RT51 than any of the previous owned. I decided to start using a gel right from the get go which I had never done before, choosing to just use it in the shower in the past. It seems to lubricate the experience and gives a closer shave. Rated 5 out of 5 by TYPICAL PANASONIC PRODUCT I have used this razor for about 10 months now and will say that this shaver is very typical of the many Panasonic products I have owned over the years. Panasonic builds the best products on the market at costs that do not drain your pocket book. This razor is a top performer both when I shave dry or I use gel, foam, or creme. It is quiet, easy to clean, rock solid, displays the percentage of remaining battery use, charges in 1 hour and believe it or not gives a close, comfortable shave every time. My one criticism is with the cost of replacing the screen and blades. The cost for these two items is almost as much as a new shaver, however, I must say that is the cost of a great shave. You get what you pay for. I swear by Panasonic and would never buy anything else! 2 of my grandson's will each have this shaver delivered by Santa this year. December 13, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not what I expected from Panasonic This is an easy razor to handle and feels good. As for shaving, it does not shave close and I always have to do a follow-up with a safety razor. I am disappointed with this product and now realize why it was on a discount sale. CAVEAT EMPTOR! December 11, 2015
