Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best a Man Can Get I have been using this Panasonic ES-LV9N-S model for 6 months, and had been using the prior Arc 5 Panasonic models for more than 8 years, together with the newest, most expensive cartridge razor. This is the best Arc 5 model yet, owing to the new suspension and foil system. Panasonic suggests that you give yourself several weeks to allow your technique and skin time to adjust, to improve the efficiency of your shave, and this is certainly true. My technique has improved over several months, and the shaving time since the first month has been substantially reduced. Overall, my Arc 5 shaving experience is better than that with my cartridge razor, which I have now stopped using. I can achieve daily a perfectly smooth face, without any irritation. There is no need to worry when going over blemishes, or sensitive skin areas. The pop-up trimmer works very well. The ergonomics the body and head are excellent, and there is no area of my face that poses any difficulty. I am delighted to say that I am somewhat amazed, daily, at how good this shaver is. This Panasonic Arc 5 ES-LV9N-S is truly, the best a man can get.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OK but does not live up to the hype I have coarse, curly, brittle, ingrown hair. This shaver will cut my beard down to appoint but not cleanly. I roll the shaver over and over my face but it will not pick up and catch and cut the hair on my face closely. So it does not deliver a close shave for me. It is a finely made machine and excellent quality. May work good for you if you have soft, straight hair.

I immediately noticed how superior the shave was with this shaver vice other Panasonic shavers I've used in the past. Before this shaver I used the ES-LV95. While the 95 was a good shaver I felt this newer model got me a much closer shave. One that I've been trying to get for many years. Only feature this new shaver doesn't have or at least couldn't find it is a lock for when you travel. Other than that this shaver far surpasses all of its predecessors! STRONGLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

  • What could be keeping my shaver from charging?
    The shaver may not charge under the following circumstances:

    1) The recommended charging temperature of 50-95 °F (10-35 °C) not being met.
    2) The unit is already charged.
    3) The unit is being used for the first time or has not been used for last six months and it may take a while for charging to start.
  • What should I do if my product needs service?
    NOTE: This does not apply to TVs, Microwaves, Vacuums, and Massage Chairs.
