Features

Inverter Technology

Unlike other microwave ovens, Inverter technology delivers a seamless stream of cooking power ¿ even at lower settings ¿ for precision cooking that preserves the flavor and texture of your favorite foods. Other microwaves mimic lower heat settings by turning the power on and off repeatedly, which can result in overcooked edges and cool spots in the middle. With Inverter, you can poach, braise and even steam more delicate foods, all with the speed and convenience of a microwave!

Inverter Turbo Defrost

Panasonic has succeeded in evolving the Turbo Defrost, which allows you to defrost foods even faster than previous Panasonic Auto Defrost. Panasonic Inverter Defrost technology is an advanced microwave sequencing system using the inverter continuous-power delivery feature.

One-Touch Sensor Cook and Reheat

The Sensor adjusts power levels and calculates cooking and reheating times automatically for various food types.

Keep Warm Feature

A pulsing delivery of very low microwave power keeps food temperatures at a constant level -- without overcooking. So, foods like stew, gravy, and desserts remain warm in the oven until ready to serve.

Multi-Lingual Menu Action Screen with Function Key

The Menu Action Screen is like having a gourmet chef to assist you in the kitchen. It scrolls step-by-step cooking instructions across the display in a choice of English, Spanish, or French. Our Function Key simplifies the programming of 10 useful, non-cooking functions. Just press the Function Key and the Menu Action Screen will display easy-to-follow steps to complete the desired function.

Need Another Minute? Use the Quick Minute Feature

Set cooking times in one-minute intervals, or add a minute to a current cooking session.

Reviews

NN-SN933W is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Our 4th in 30 years! I have always loved the size, color, and function of the Panasonic Microwave. Works beautifully! Was shipped VERY promptly and was here just before the 'conk-out ' of my old Panasonic Microwave (which had been working, but acting strangely, so I thought I'd better order a new one!!). Each one seems to last about 10 years, so we are on our 4th one. My only concern with this one is the door latch. I've never had one that was as 'sticky' as this one is. I'm hoping it will loosen up or something over time. I know the door latch has been an issue in other reviews, so I will have to keep an eye on it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value and easy to use I opted for the touch pad model as opposed to the dial Model and I'm glad that I did. The touch pad is fast, easy And efficient to use. The defrost and popcorn settings seem to be right on, and the oven has a clean look to it inside and outside. The price was very reasonable compared to the newer dial technology.

FAQs

  • What should I check if my microwave stops working?
Check the fuse/circuit breaker for the outlet to see if it has been tripped or blown. Check other outlets to see if there is a GFI (Ground Fault Interrupt) outlet that is on the same circuit as the outlet used for the unit and see if it needs to be reset. Connect the oven to another outlet to see if unit is still operational. If the unit is still not working, please contact a local authorized servicer for diagnosis and repair.

  • What should I do if my microwave display is not working?
Check to make sure unit is plugged into a working outlet by plugging in another device to determine if power is available at the receptacle.
If power is not available at the outlet check your fuse/circuit breaker, panel.

Note: Newer homes/buildings are generally wired with GFI (Ground Fault Interrupt) receptacles, if your building is equipped with GFI receptacles be sure to check if the circuit breaker directly on the receptacle has been tripped and requires reset.

If you determine the outlet has power but the microwave still is not functioning, contact a local Panasonic authorized servicer for repair.
