With the power and ease of JetForce^™ Technology, a quiet, 12-amp motor, cyclonic suction and unique hourglass dust cup pull in and separate dirt, dust and other debris from the flow of incoming air. Dirt and debris are forced to the bottom of the hourglass and compressed for easy disposal. It's a total cleaning system that delivers continuous, clog-free suction for more thorough cleaning throughout the house.

100% Washable Dust Cup

The durable, washable dust cup eliminates the expense and hassle of vacuum bags. A simple push of a button opens the cup's bottom-drop panel to make dirt disposal quick, clean and easy. The system's pre-filter and primary filter can be easily removed and washed to help eliminate odors often created by the build-up of pet hair and other debris.

Clean Carpets More Efficiently with Air Infusion

From short-pile area rugs to the plushest wall-to-wall carpeting, the vacuum's power nozzle features Air Infusion technology to deep clean your carpet. As airflow is drawn into the nozzle, a powerful stream of air is channeled through the brush bar and carpet to loosen and remove dirt, dust and debris more efficiently. This continuous movement of air reduces the push and tug effort of vacuuming to make cleaning rugs easier, and more convenient. Rated 5 out of 5 by johntraveller A very good choice We really like two things about this vacuum cleaner: 1. that it is bag less. Not having to buy bags all the time reduces the cost and it is also very easy to clean. 2. it picks up dog hair very well. Having a German Shepherd (really German Shedder), this is a major plus for us. If it can handle a shepherd's fur, it can handle any and we got up fur that we couldn't even see. Rated 5 out of 5 by Mark R Comparison Wanted to change from a 15-year old Miele upright to a canister due to having more hardwood flooring than wall-to-wall carpeting now but thought the Miele canisters rather expensive. Researched and found the Panasonic TurboFlow models online. All I can say is "Wow!" Went over carpeting I had vacuumed a week earlier with the old Miele and could not believe the additional dirt/dust the Panasonic picked up! I ended up re-vacuuming the entire house to get it "Panasonic clean." Also did well on bare wood flooring and upholstery, using the included turbo accessory for the latter. Will be getting rid of the old Miele for sure!!! November 14, 2015

Like how easy it is to clean the dirt container. WISH; the wand extended longer and would be nice if the light on power head stayed on all floor selections and not just the carpet mode.
