High-Tech Heating Element

WhisperWarm features a Durable 1400W stainless steel sheathed heating element that includes Nichrome wire with magnesium oxide for optimal heat transfer, and electrical insulation at elevated temperatures. WhisperWarm includes thermal fuse protection on the motor and 3-level safety device for the heater.

Long Life Means Reduced Costs

When you have a household or business to run, you don't want to have to replace little things like a vent fan. Panasonic fans use less energy to move larger volumes of air than other brands. Consequently, Panasonic fans run cooler so they last longer. They are also much less likely to overheat and result in motor failure. The motor is also equipped with a thermal-cutoff fuse. *WhisperWarm does require a minimum 20 Amp dedicated circuit. For optimum performance, install heater no more than 8 feet from floor to ceiling.

CFL Lighting Efficiency

Energy efficient lighting is an important part of the latest codes and standards, so Panasonic fans incorporate the most efficient CFL lamps available. WhisperWarm incorporates (2) 13W, self-ballasted GU24 base, ENERGY STAR® rated CFL lamps that squeeze out more lumens per watt (greater than 70 LPW!) than other manufacturers do. A 4-watt night light is also included.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Basher Major Upgrade! Replaced a good quality old bathroom fan/heater with FV-11VHL2 + timer switch. Major improvement in Every regard. Much better light, moves Way More air, heater puts out lots more heat a lot Faster. First few times I turned it on, I thought something was wrong with it because it was so quiet! The timer switch is much more convenient. Fan doesn't accidentally get left on. Been in use about 2 years, no problems. August 6, 2014

Rated 3 out of 5 by PB Good Fan And Light Everything was straight forward on the installation except for the wiring. Even an electrician friend of mine said the instructions were very unclear. The problem is, if you get confused by the poor wiring instructions, you could potentially damage the unit. Operationally, the fan, light, and heater work great. Very quiet and moves a lot of air. The light does a good job of illuminating even a fairly large bathroom. July 22, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by bevo model FV-11VHL2 I bought this expensive fan 8 years ago and the vent has already gone out. I previously had a cheaper fan/heater unit and it lasted 26 years. I am extremely disappointed in this product and I am sure that a less expensive model would work just as well, if not better. I would not recommend this fan, especially since the price has almost doubled since my purchase. March 29, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bobber Great Buy I bought this heater fan & light combo & could not be more pleased. A little advice, make sure you wire it before you install it. Also, do not use the wire holes on the side or you won't be able to install it through the opening. Very quite and the heater really kicks out some heat! The two lights are too bright for me so I am using just one. It comes with both lights, so now I have a back up. The night light is a very nice option if you chose to use it. Great Buy! A little pricey though but worth it... January 20, 2010
