Inverter Technology

Unlike other microwave ovens, Inverter technology delivers a seamless stream of cooking power — even at lower settings — for precision cooking that preserves the flavor and texture of your favorite foods. Other microwaves mimic lower heat settings by turning the power on and off repeatedly, which can result in overcooked edges and cool spots in the middle. With Inverter, you can poach, braise and even steam more delicate foods, all with the speed and convenience of a microwave!

Genius Microwave

With the touch of our Sensor Cooking button, this microwave takes guesswork out of creating a great meal by automatically setting power levels and adjusting cooking or defrosting time. The sensor measures the amount of steam produced during cooking and signals the microprocessor to calculate the remaining cooking time at the appropriate power level.

Inverter Turbo Defrost

Panasonic has succeeded in evolving the Turbo Defrost, which allows you to defrost foods even faster than previous Panasonic Auto Defrost. Panasonic Inverter Defrost technology is an advanced microwave sequencing system using the inverter continuous-power delivery feature.

One-Touch Sensor Cook and Reheat

The Sensor adjusts power levels and calculates cooking and reheating times automatically for various food types.

Keep Warm Feature

A pulsing delivery of very low microwave power keeps food temperatures at a constant level -- without overcooking. So, foods like stew, gravy, and desserts remain warm in the oven until ready to serve.

Silver Button Control Panel

The silver button control panel, spin dial, and 4-Digit Display provide a high-end look and a practically effortless navigation experience in the kitchen.

Quick Minute Feature

The one-touch button allows you to automatically set the time in increments of 1 minute.

Built-In Installation*

This GeniusCountertop Microwave Oven can be installed in the wall using an optional matching trim kit accessory.

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 7 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by What's the best microwave? We all know there is good and bad in most things (people too). So it is not uncommon to, once in a while, get a faulty product. I am a retired Electronics Instructor at SCC. Over the years, I looked for quality in everything I purchased. I have found Panasonic to be consistent in producing quality. I bought one of the very early Panasonic microwave ovens almost 40 years ago. When we remodeled our kitchen about 5 years ago, we gave that microwave to our church kitchen. It is still doing its job, and still looks great! Panasonic, I believe, designed the first light weight power supply for microwaves. That means, the heavy transformer is no longer needed to supply the power for the magnatron. NOW THAT'S AN IMPROVEMENT! Larry October 5, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by New technology So far, so good. We haven't had it very long. It's big. We're still learning how to use it. I like the inverter technology, it only uses the power level that you select. As I understand it, the older microwave ovens use 100% power & if you choose, say, 80%, it uses 100% on & off, till it's done. September 26, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by hermie42 Works Great I ordered the unit and I received in 5 days. Very easy to use. I have no complaints about it. I would tell my friends to buy one. I just got it 3 weeks ago works great. Lot of room inside. Very Quiet when you are cooking . June 28, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Decent microwave This is a much more powerful microwave than our last one. It works great except on the popcorn setting, it burns the popcorn. Need to call about that one. And the install was a lot of work to make it fit in the previously cut space and the built-in look kit was smaller than our old one so the paint on cabinets doesn't match up. But that can be fixed. Overall we are happy with th purchase so far. June 24, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by are-some I order this microwave and it looks better than the picture and is very large inside and cooks food to perfection every time. The sensor cook is a feature that all microwaves should have along with the Inverter Turbo Defrost. Would not ever buy someone else's microwave again. November 24, 2014
