Microwaving Has Evolved

Unlike traditional microwaves that rely on pulse-on, pulse-off cooking at lower temperatures, patented Inverter Technology generates a steady stream of power at all temperature settings. The result? Consistent, evenly prepared food — edges to center — across a wider range of cooking techniques. This delivery of microwave energy allows delicate foods to simmer without overcooking, so foods have the look and taste you expect, without the wait. Most important, everyone enjoys delicious food that's easier and faster to prepare, and better retains its color, texture and nutrients.

1200 Watt high power enables quicker cooking times in a full-size 1.2 cubic feet interior. The precision touch-button control panel and four-digit green display provide a sleek, high-end look and a practically effortless cooking experience. And twelve preset menu options for everyday meals, side dishes, vegetables and more maximize everyday cooking convenience. Choose between stylish white or black door and exterior countertop models. Each is designed to complement any décor and provide a minimal footprint on countertops.

Better Cooking with Inverter Technology

Patented Inverter Technology delivers a seamless stream of cooking power even at low settings. With the continuous, linear output of Inverter, not only will your food be easily and quickly prepared, you can confidently cook, and even poach, braise and steam foods to perfection. Just as important, the essential vitamins and nutrients you expect in all your meals will be retained.

Great Cooking, No Guesswork

With one-touch sensor cook and reheat, Panasonic takes the guesswork out of creating great meals by automatically setting power levels and adjusting cooking, defrosting and reheating times. The sensor measures the amount of steam naturally produced during cooking and signals the oven's advanced microprocessor to automatically calculate the remaining cooking time at any power level for optimum results.

Sensor Inverter Turbo Defrost

The microwave oven is also designed with Turbo Defrost to help prepare food more efficiently than any Panasonic microwave before it. This advanced feature utilizes a microwave sequencing system based on Inverter's continuous-power delivery method to thaw foods more evenly and quickly.

Sleek Controls

A sleek, touch-button control panel and four-digit display provide a high-end look. And nine preset menu options provide automatic convenience for hot cereals and omelets, frozen after-school snacks, vegetables, frozen entrees, pasta, potatoes and more. Controls and sensors automatically set power levels, monitor and cooking time and when done, keep foods warm until ready to serve.

Keep Warm Feature

Keeps foods like vegetables, soups, hors d'oeuvres, gravies, sauces and desserts warm and delicious in the oven until they're ready to serve. The microwave delivers a pulsing, automatic stream of low microwave power to maintain constant temperature levels in foods without overcooking.

More Conveniences

More everyday advantages include a quick-minute timer that lets you set cooking and reheating times in single-minute intervals, or add another minute when needed. And a handy delay start feature and bright, time-of-day clock and versatile timer provide additional convenience. For safety, a child safety lock is also included to keep young hands from operating the oven.

Maximum Interior, Minimal Footprint

The smart, compact design of the Inverter power unit devotes less space to electronics and controls and far more interior capacity. These smaller, more efficient energy and control units are also up to eight pounds lighter than conventional microwave components. All of which adds up to less weight and a minimal exterior footprint when placed on a counter.

Interactive Menu Screen

A helpful Menu Action Screen scrolls step-by-step cooking instructions for a full range of appetizers, main courses, side dishes, soups, sauces, casseroles, desserts and more across the display in your choice of English or Spanish. It's almost like having a professional chef to assist you in the kitchen.

Rated 3.4 out of 5 by 23 reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Only lasted 18 months! Was replaced by a cheaper 1,000 Watts model microwave, not panasonic, that cooks slightly faster and hotter than the 1,200 Watt Panasonic..... which was one-half the cost! I was disappointed to say the least. The Panasonic was noisy while running and had a loud noisy vibration from the real sheet metal that took 4 shims to reduce the noise. There was no lamp while cooking which I also didn't like. I was looking forward to the Panasonic technology for reduced power cooking and did like that but I really didn't notice that the power reduction method appear to make any difference in cooking or reheating food. I dislike being so negative, but I was expecting the Panasonic to be a top of the line name but the microwave did only last 18 months. BTW, we are only two people using the microwave so it shouldn't have been overworked or abused. Too bad..... August 24, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Broke after 14 months Purchased this microwave just over a year ago and it just stopped working. Everything just went dark in the middle of microwaving and it won't even light up or turn on now. Very disappointing. I had my last microwave (different brand) for 12 years. This one was more expensive and barely lasted a year. No longer under warranty, so I can't even get it fixed. Such a waste. The microwave wasn't that great overall anyway. It felt cheap to me, and always overcooked everything if you used it full power, so I had to use it at a lower power level every time I wanted to cook something. If you're undecided on what microwave to buy, I'd choose something else. August 22, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointed We purchased mIcrowave Model nn-sn651W in Dec. of 2014 and today, June, 2016 it has stopped working. We are a retired couple and don't even use it every day. I know things do not last like they used to, but certainly feel it should be more than this. I called the chat line who, at the beginning, said they would be glad to help. The only 'help; they gave was the name of a repair service place near us. I am sure the cost just to look it at would not be worth it. Will definitely not buy another Panasonic!!! June 21, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Miss the light coming on when door is opened. A step backwards in the evolution. Our 25 year old microwave just died and the light feature is missed. Otherwise happy with product. June 3, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good White Microwave It's hard to find a white microwave these days, so I was happy to find this one. The inverter works great, and the food heats very evenly. Having to hit the button repeatedly to select your power level is a little odd, but you get used to it quick. I really love the Sensor Reheat feature. No matter what you're heating, you press one button and your food comes out nice and hot, and not dried out. I don't care that the light doesn't come on when you open the door; I don't microwave in the dark. The beep is a normal volume too. I drop down one star because this model has been reported to have door problems, and mine is already making a "thunk" when you open it. We shall see... April 28, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not happy We purchased this microwave in April 2015. This week, February 2016, it just stopped working. First off, all this time we have found it to be too strong, and we are frequently turning the Power to 8, so things don't burn up. Also, the buttons are not very user friendly, like our previous microwaves have been. For example, if you want to cook 1 potatoes or 4 potatoes, there is only 1 button for Potatoes--which is way too long for only 1! The "Sensor cooking" doesn't seem to work correctly. We having been just modifying how we microwave, and then this week it just stops; like the power cut out inside. It is under warranty, so they will repair it free, which is great, but the closest Panasonic repair place is 1.5 hours from my house! The repair dealer did tell me that he would try to look at it and repair while I wait which is super nice. Just not happy with this microwave now. I probably would not purchase Panasonic (certainly not this one) again. February 10, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Works perfectly, so far. We've only had it a couple of weeks, so I don't want to gush just yet. The only thing I don't care for, so far, is having to push the Power button multiple times in order to select the power level; our old microwave allowed us to push "Power" then use the number pad to select the Power level. Warming, heating, and defrosting features work well, and faster than our old microwave. I would buy this model again. December 31, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good value, overall very satisfied This is the model that replaces my old one. The old one was very satisfactory, and gave good service, so I'm sticking with what has worked for me. Love the high power, and the inverter technology. HATE the loud beeper; it's twice as loud as the old one, but really the only negative feature to me. December 26, 2015
