Inverter Technology Panasonic Inverter Technology perfects the art of cooking with microwave ovens, delivering delicious flavor, excellent color, superb shape and texture in the foods you cook. The consistent delivery of microwave energy means delicate foods can simmer without the edges and surfaces overcooking. Foods have the look and taste you expect – without the wait!
Genius Microwave With the touch of our Sensor Cooking button, this microwave takes guesswork out of creating a great meal by automatically setting power levels and adjusting cooking or defrosting time. The sensor measures the amount of steam produced during cooking and signals the microprocessor to calculate the remaining cooking time at the appropriate power level.
Inverter Turbo Defrost Panasonic has succeeded in evolving the Turbo Defrost, which allows you to defrost foods even faster than previous Panasonic Auto Defrost. Panasonic Inverter Defrost technology is an advanced microwave sequencing system using the inverter continuous-power delivery feature.
One-Touch Sensor Cook and Reheat The Sensor adjusts power levels and calculates cooking and reheating times automatically for various food types.
Menu Action Screen (multi-lingual) The Menu Action Screen is like having a chef to assist you in the kitchen. It scrolls step-by-step cooking instructions across the display, in a choice of English, Spanish, or French.
Keep Warm Feature A pulsing delivery of very low microwave power keeps food temperatures at a constant level – without overcooking. So, foods like stew, gravy, and desserts remain warm in the oven until ready to serve.

Rated 3.6 out of 5 by 25 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very Smart Microwave Oven The auto sensing feature and the inverter technology both work well and as advertised, for more precise and even cooking. The quick minutes control is very handy, gets me started with fewer button presses. I would like to have had the ability to add to cooking time on the fly, as a previously owned product allowed. However this is less important to me than the aforementioned features of this one. April 20, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Mine has a light Even though I haven't used it much I just wanted to say mine has a light that works while running and with the door open. When I bought it I bought it thinking there was not going to be a light when the door was open due to reviews. But I got such a good deal(nearly 70% off) I could live without it. Got it home plugged it in and to my surprise the light comes on when I open the door. My guess is they changed this with model NN-SN651B. Guessing the NN-SN651 doesn't have the light on when door is open. So if you want this feature make sure you get model NN-SN651B. March 12, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Counter-top unit with big box features This is my second one of these. Exact same model. After 5 or 6 years the old one quit. For the price I easily got my money's worth. The one main irritation with the old unit - a door latch with too much latching effort - was corrected. Like butter now. The inverter technology and button selection features allow the family to cook just about anything with ease. There is a lot of microwave power and we regularly use the power reduction button to slow down the cooking on some things or use the food selection options. I've always had great experience with Panasonic products. Hopefully the life of this unit will meet or exceed the last one. March 11, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Gets the job done, just not very exciting I purchased this microwave online and wish I had seen it in person first. The overall look is rather dated and I really miss having an interior light, which my old microwave had. I also wish that the timer could be utilized independently, even while you are cooking something else. It's one or the other. I think this unit would be fine for an office kitchen, but for home use, it's pretty bare bones. March 9, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Why no light when it's open? And more... The light only comes on when the microwave is cooking. Why no light when the door is open? How is one to see to clean out spots and spills? Speaking of the door, it takes an extra push to get it open all the way. I suppose this is a safety measure so the door doesn't swing shut too easily, but with all the microwaves I've owned since they were invented, this door is the only one that's bothersome. And furthermore, the plastic film covering the controls panel is so thin that a dull fingernail cuts right through it. Mine came with a couple of bubbles I was trying to work out, and now it's all scratched up. And lastly, why would Panasonic ship a microwave with the turntable wheels-circle-thingy loose inside, rattling around? Wouldn't they think to tape it down? I almost feel like I got a returned unit, since the power cord was tied in a knot rather than bound with a twist-tie, as is fairly standard. February 12, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Seriously Needs an Inside Light when Door is Open I don't know what Panasonic was thinking when they made the light shut off as soon as you open the door. You cannot view your food well or clean the interior of the oven without a flashlight. I bought a small gooseneck reading lamp to sit next to it to view my food while stirring or cleaning it. Otherwise a good unit. February 8, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by good product only thing didn't like it is very noisy .it does a good job December 11, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Microwave First thing is: It heats stuff, as it should. My dislikes: I need a flashlight or other source to read the keypad; once the power level is set don't dare leave it unattended or the contents may be not what you want as the level is not displayed. December 8, 2015
