Inverter Turbo Defrost™

We like the look of the exterior. We are still getting used to the dial versus buttons but overall like this oven. January 3, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love this Microwave We recently ordered the 1250W 2.2 Cu. Ft. Convertible Microwave NN-SE982S microwave directly from Panasonic and are very happy with it. It looks good and is very spacious. The dial is so much easier to use than punching in numbers. The Sensor Cook feature is really nice, it cooked a whole sweet potato to perfection. So far we are very satisfied. November 17, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Product, Features and Value We had an old Quasar Microwave Convection oven that was 22 years old and was finally ready to be replaced. We didn't use the Convection part so we looked for a replacement that was similar in size and features without the convection option. This and the model just below this were the two we narrowed our search to. We chose this one, as the selector dial did not protrude from the front panel. This has not disappointed us. The oven size, even with the turntable, allows for family sized cookware to be used. It took a bit to get used to the touch wheel, but once you get used to it it is easy and very intuitive. We love it and hope to get a good run of time with this microwave. August 30, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Panasonic/Inverter ever We're loving our new microwave. Have had an Inverter before so that's not new. (As always, we love the smooth cooking... oatmeal is right every time.) This new unit gives us more: - defrosting that actually works - easier no-moving-parts setup. The electronic touch-dial is very very nice. (Hint: spin at the edge for slow increase... spin near the middle for fast!) My only wish... when spinning through the genius sensor cooking choices... it would help if it listed the meaning of the current number. August 16, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good but not long lasting This is my fourth Panasonic. The first one was in the 80s! That was a workhorse and lasted until I gave it away when I moved. After that, they just aren't built to last more than a few years. My problem with the last unit was the latch. When it stops working correctly, the unit won't run. Unfortunately the current units still have the same latch. Most manufacturers are using the same type of latch. So since I know and like the features of a Panasonic, there is no sense in changing brands because of the latch. August 15, 2015
