The consistent delivery of microwave energy means delicate foods can simmer without the edges and surfaces overcooking. Foods have the look and taste you expect without the wait!

Inverter Turbo Defrost Adds a Little Cooking Boost

Panasonic has succeeded in evolving Turbo Defrost, which allows you to defrost foods even faster than previous Panasonic Auto Defrost. Panasonic Inverter Turbo Defrost technology is an advanced microwave sequencing system using the Inverter low-power delivery feature.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great MW, pleasant low volume beeper Most models available these days have a loud annoying beeper, but this model is less obtrusive -- and if it's still not quiet enough, this one can be turned completely off! The one button feature for cooking and another for reheating are fantastic! Highly recommend this model. June 5, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 Cooks Fast We had a 1200 Watt microwave in our office and it would take 5 minutes to warm up a cup of coffee. I purchased this 1250 watt model and it warms it up in 1 minute!! May 4, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Replacement for a 1987 Panasonic Microwave My husband got his first microwave, a Panasonic, as a gift in 1987. It is the microwave that had been in his bachelor pad, joined our household after we married and survived two kids into their teen years. It had the door repaired once and the magnetron replaced once, but otherwise it worked perfectly until last month when it finally gave up the ghost. After 27 years of owning a Panasonic, it was the only option for us. I couldn't be happier with our decision. I love the sensor cooking and reheating. According to my kids, the popcorn setting makes the perfect bag of microwave popcorn. It was a great value and maybe I won't have to buy a microwave for another 27 years (which would make it an exceptional value). April 23, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not Happy! After less than six months of use by two older adults, this microwave has developed a control panel problem. The numeric key pad has developed bubbles in its covering and now has started to crack. This is totally unacceptable. It has not been abused and is not overly used. This clearly is a design and materials flaw which never should have been put on the market. Our last microwave was a Panasonic and it lasted several years. Even if Panasonic repairs this defect, the closest service center is nearly 100 miles away. The trip alone will cost me not only time, but also 400 miles, two hundred dropping it off at a service center and two hundred picking it up. At the 2012 IRS mileage deduction of 55.5 cents per mile, that is $222 which really does not fullly cover the cost of driving. The repairs actually will cost me $100 more than the price of a new microwave--while effectively giving me only 6 months service. That is it for me. Panasonic is now a last choice product. Rated 5 out of 5 by I think this microwave is awesome. i have had it for 2 years now and it has never failed me. March 17, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by It quit after 27 months Got an error H98 which the manual says is a problem with mcrowave generation system. Having to replace way too early. Engineers need to quit using low-contrast control panels. Black on grey is stupid. Can't see it without glasses. March 14, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great little oven I was the chief technician and a major repair center for many manufacturers of consumer electronics. Some of these reviews I think they're a little off to say the least. I like the one that said the microwave worked with the door open in the service department responsibly never heard of that. They probably haven't because there are failsafe switches in the doors that if any switch should fail to open or close will disable the entire unit by blowing the main power fuse. I can only see this possible if someone deliberately bypassed multiple switches. I have also done work for Panasonic is a service center in my working years. Panasonic has always stood by their product and taken care of their customers. For those who couldn't take their microwave 50 miles to have it repaired under warranty you can't really complain January 26, 2013
