Wireless Siren for Home Monitoring & Control System

Day or night, the interior wireless Siren is ideal for warning family members of possible danger. Once triggered by an interior motion, door/window or glass break sensor, the siren instantly emits a clear, emergency sound up to 110 dB.* A bright, LED strobe alerts the hearing impaired and can provide critical illumination during nighttime hours.

*Measured approximately 3-15/16 inches from siren.

Easy, Do-it-Yourself Setup

The wall-mountable siren is easy to install in any interior room or space, including stairways, hallways, garages and basements. With the touch of a button, the siren and strobe sync automatically via WiFi to the hub unit.* The siren can be armed and disarmed — and decibel volume adjusted — from inside the home or remotely from your smartphone or tablet.

*The system hub (KX-HNB600) is required for siren, sensors and other system components.

Receive Alerts via Smartphone and Tablet

When the wireless siren and LED are activated, alerts can be monitored from anywhere inside the home, and remotely with your smartphone/tablet.

Panasonic Home Monitoring System

As an integral part of the Panasonic Home Monitoring System, the wireless siren takes full advantage of the DECT technology that allows every connected system component to maintain a clear, uninterrupted, long-range signal throughout the home. And because it's the home monitoring system that you configure, install and control yourself, there's never a monthly fee to pay.

KX-HNS105W is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from There are alternatives! This is a ridiculously quiet siren. It is nowhere near the advertised dB level. But don't despair! Here's what you can do. (1) Purchase the Panasonic Smart Home smart plug. (2) Purchase a 12v 2a dc adapter with a little adapter thing that can accept raw wires (I'm not sure what this is called, but search on a certain large online retailer for a 12v 2a dc adapter, and you'll see what I'm talking about. It looks like a DC end except that it has two little holes with screws in them and a +/- label) (3) Purchase a really, really loud Piezo siren. This will not have an adapter, just two or three wires. That's OK (4) Hook the positive to the + and - to the minus of the dc adapter. Plug the dc adapter into the smart plug. Use the Smart Home app to set the smart plug to turn on and off when you wish. Whenever the plug turns on, the siren goes off. Done! I should add, with all the supplies, I ended up paying slightly less than this siren, and it is more than 150dB; it is so loud that you get nauseous if you stand near it. So don't buy this product. Buy the Smart Plug and the above accessories instead. It requires literally no electrical skills.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Noise scares Good sound and light; but not loud enough. Had to install 3. Installation is simple. Has a time lag before activation.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy siren to setup. Easy siren to setup considering it just needs to be linked to the hub and then it just requires a power source. My only complaint is that it is not loud enough. I installed the siren above the front door to high for any intruder to tamper with the siren. Since there is plenty of foot traffic I think it will get some attention if the alarm is triggered.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not loud enough I purchased the external alarm so that my hub can be stealthy (I shut off the LEDs and most of the sound on the hub). It was easy to connect (no different than any other device) but the volume of the alarm is poor, even on the high setting it's not that loud. I also wish that the hub beep alerts would come through this external alarm. I'm going to try and figure out what I can do to amplify the alarm.
