Rated 5 out of 5 by from Grateful for this product THANK YOU for continuing to make this product. It is inexpensive easy and convenient...none others like it around. Please just improve the speaker quality a bit and I'll pay more for that!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My 2nd Panasonic fax & I would surely buy a 3rd. I chose my first Panasonic because that's what they used in the insurance office where I worked and it was great. That first one was used in my office at home for 17-18 yrs. and it performed great for me. It finally began to fail so I retired it with dignity after so many years of faithful service. My newest fax is a Panasonic KX-FP215 and it looks and functions very closely to my first fax machine except this one is smaller and far lighter so it is easier to move around and takes up less space. My other one was black and this is a very light cream color which I like better. I would absolutely buy a third one & would recommend this one.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Replaced a 17 year old Panasonic Not as many quality fax machines out there to choose from as there used to be. This was suggested by Panasonic as a direct replacmentioned of our previous one. Works as it should. Decent value. Wish they would have included a real roll of film instead of a trial. Shows what they really think of their customers. Also miss the jog dial. All these years later I remember that the jog dial was the reason I bought the first one. Wish this one would have come in black like the old one. White really looks ugly in the dinning room. But it works.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small shop owner Replaced a Panasonic unit the failed after many years of service. Could not find another brand that would give me the features like these. Mainly able to receive phone and fax automatically. Thanks for a great product. Alan Koch Al's Train Shop

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One frustration The product is great and replaces my previous Panasonic fax/answering machine which I used for over 20 years. I want the KX-FP215 mainly for an answering machine and for occassional use to send and receive faxes, say 1 per week. Unfortunatley, the retailer must have given my number out to the whole world because I now receive numerous unsolicited faxes; 3 or 4 per day; which rarely happened on my previous machine, (same phone number). The frustration is - there is no way to turn off the fax machine function and leave the answering function up and running to receive phone voice messages. Its both or none!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best overall choice Perfect choice for me. I Want a built in answer machine in a compact design for a small business that only does 3-5 faxes a week. Rolls are not cheep but are easy to install. Not many choices with all these features. Have had for over 4 yrs with no problems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value This has been a good product for my home/office use. I still work in a business that does a fair amount of business by fax and this machine has worked very well for my use. I receive several 2-3 page faxed orders per week and it works fine for that. It is not the handiest machine for large volume faxes to send out, but it isn't billed as a commercial office machine. Overall for the price, I'd say it's a good value. If you are still doing large volume faxing, then I would spend the additional money to purchase or lease a high end machine.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk A real piece of junk. The roll does not last long and makes less than 100 copies. At 2 rolls that is $0.15 per copy. Panasonic makes money off the rolls. Thye use to make good equipment but the print quality, poor feed, and poor lifetime are very bad. Look around for a better choics.

    FAQs
    • How do I remove a document/paper jammed?
Note: Unplug the unit from the outlet.

To remove a jammed document/paper, you will need to open the front cover and pull the paper towards you. You may also clean the feed roller with a lint free cloth that is dampened with alcohol.

For specific information please consult your operating manual.
    • Why is the fax machine not recording the incoming message?
If the answering part of the unit wont receive messages, first be sure that the auto answer is set to tam/fax mode and the red light button should be lit up. If it still doesn't work, you may try unplugging the unit from the power for initial reset. If it doesn't work, call Panasonic technical support hotline for further instruction.
    • Will there be a fax driver software that will work on my latest Mac Operating System?
      For Mac OS X 10.5 / 10.6 / 10.7
      Panasonic supports following functions:
      • Printer Driver
      • Scanner Driver (Pull Scan)
      • Push Scan
      • PC fax driver (sending only, fax supported models only)

      For Mac OS X 10.3 / 10.4
      Panasonic supports following function:

      • Printer Driver

More detail, just go to http://panasonic.net/pcc/support/fax/world.htm.

    • What does it mean by "fax in memory" on the display?
If the display shows "FAX MEMORY FULL" it's possible the document received exceeds the fax machine's memory capacity. The memory will need to be cleared and you will lose any received documents in memory. To clear the memory, remove the power cord for five seconds and reconnect it. Receiving large pictures or colored graphics can consume the memory.
