Rated 1 out of 5 by from 2 of 4 handsets failed in 18 months I like Panasonic products and these phones replaced an older Panasonic cordless phone, but this product does not live up to anyone's standards. One handset had static on the line after 11 months. Although it was replaced under the warranty, it took about 2 months. A second handset's speaker phone just failed - nothing but static, in month 18. 1 year warranty doesn't cover it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Remote phone handset. This handset was an add on to an existing setup that had three phones and a base. It was ordered easily and delivered very promptly. The setup was documented and went very smoothly with the handset linking (Pairing) with the base easily. The phone directory was transfered over and the phone has worked great since installation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What's Not to LIke? Who knows? Maybe I'm just a pushover, but I don't know what more I can ask of a phone system. There are features I never dreamed of, like noise reduction and Bluetooth, and some I'll never use, but I think this system is the best I've ever owned. Bought an extra headset and there was no diminishment of quality. Furthest headset is at least 50 feet away from base--no problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 1 pleased customer I couldn't be more pleased with our new phones. Until I started using the new system I did not realize the inferiority of my old system. I purchased a two handset system, but soon realized I actually needed three or four handsets. The caller I.D. works every time (the old system did not) and the display is large enough to see clearly. I like the audio announcement as well. I was particularly well pleased with the feature that lets you know if someone left a message on the telephone company's voice mail box while your own line was in use. I did not know this feature existed until the message popped up on the screen. So I followed the instructions, found the company voice mail box, and discovered the mail box was full. I listened to the first message and discovered it was over three years old. I cleaned out the box so callers can leave a message, even if I am on the phone. I love the Inter-phone system which is very simple to use. I also love how easy it is to block calls from unwanted callers. I am a bit hard of hearing and find the loudness and clarity very good. I love how I can quickly turn on the loudspeaker to make hearing even better. This is a first class product. It rings when my wife's cell phone rings and you can answer it from this phone. Quite convenient.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The phone itself feels light 'plastic-y & flimsy The phone itself feels light 'plastic-y & flimsy. I packed up my old Panasonic phone system & put it away. It was about 8 yrs. old but it worked great & 'felt' of much better quality. This newer system although, has GREAT NEW FEATURES so I'm up in the air at this time.

  • How do I turn off the Talking Caller ID for incoming Cell Phone calls?
    On the Panasonic handset
    1. Press [MENU] [#] [6] [1] [4] [1] for CELL1
      Press [MENU] [#] [6] [1] [4] [2] for CELL2
    2. Navigate and select "On (without Talking CID)"
    3. Choose "SAVE".
    Note: Your smart phone must be registered (paired) to the Panasonic unit via Bluetooth to access this feature.

  • How can I re-register my handset or register additional handsets?
    To register a handset, perform the following steps:
    1. Press [MENU] [#] [1] [3] [0] on the Handset
    2. Press and hold down the [LOCATOR] button on the base for about 5 seconds until you hear the registration tone
      If all registered handsets starts ringing, press [LOCATOR] again to stop, then repeat this step, procedure needs to be completed within 90 seconds
    3. Press [OK] on the handset

  • What do I need to do if I have a new or replacement telephone handset I am unable to register to my base unit?
    If you have attempted to register a new or replacement handset to your base unit and it has failed to register the new or replacement unit, you may have exceeded the number of handsets that can be registered to your base unit. It is important to remember when replacing a defective handset, or adding a new handset you cannot exceed 6 handsets. Additionally, if a handset is being replaced the old handset must be deregistered to ensure your base unit has space available for the new or replacement unit.   • How do I setup/change my remote access code for my answering machine?
    A remote access code must be entered to operating the answering system remotely. This code prevents unauthorized parties from listening to your messages when your away from home. To setup or change your remote code, perform one of the following procedures below using your cordless handset:
    1. Press [MENU] [#] [3] [0] [6] on the handset
    2. Key in your preferred 3 digit remote access code
    3. Press [OK] or [SAVE]

    * * * OR * * *

    1. Press [MENU] and scroll down by pressing [▲] or [▼] until "Answering Device" is displayed, then press [OK]
    2. Press your [▲] or [▼] repeatedly until "Setting" is displayed, then press [OK]
    3. Press your [▲] or [▼] until "Remote Code" is displayed, then press [OK]
    4. Key in your preferred 3 digit code
    5. Press [OK] or [SAVE] to save the change then press [OFF]
    Note: You wont be able to access your messages from your answering machine when you are away from your phone if you forget your remote access code.

  • How do I erase messages on the answering machine?
    While listening to the current message press [CLEAR] on the base.
