    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfectly Fine Base unit mounts to wall closer than virtually all other wall mountable phones. Handsets are comfortable, clear conversations, no interference and very long range. If you follow the instructions, it's not hard to make adjustments to settings. I really like the simplicity of blocking unwanted calls -- press a button on the handset and that's it.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to Set Up Phones These phones replace an older version. They were easy to set up and even though I am hearing impaired I can use them successfully. They arrived promptly and in excellent condition. My only negative is the date and time must be re-set almost after each use. It loses minutes with each phone call. I wish they had a clock that set automatically once a phone call was received and the time held. With the time being off you can't be sure recorded messages were actually received when the recorder says they were. Other than that they would rate Excellent from me.

    Rated 2 out of 5 by from Incompatible with Neck Loop I bought this phone because of its advertised features. I have a severe hearing loss and have been using a Clear Sounds A300 phone (analog) with a Clear Sounds CLA7-V2 neck loop to put sound directly into my hearing aids. I assumed that my neck loop would work with this phone also by plugging it into the headset jack. I was wrong. When I plugged in the neck loop, I could hear fine, However, I could not send out my voice through the neck loop. Apparently, the headset jack only works in one direction and that is audio out. You cannot put audio in into this jack. I tried it with all three phone instruments with the same result. Therefore, I could rule out one bad instrument. There appears to be an incompatibility with this phone model and neck loops. So, I returned the phone. If you use a neck loop with your hearing aids, this phone will not work for you.

I have had Panasonic phones for many years, although I have had many problems with my phone service. I don't know if it is my inside wire maintenance or the area.

    Rated 1 out of 5 by from Base unit speakerphone not working. I purchased this phone on 9/8/15 and it was working great until today; 4/15/16. What is not working anymore is the base unit speaker phone after just 8 months. It is still under warranty so I'm sending it back (at my expense. Shipping after repair or replacement is at Panasonic's expense). 7 to 10 day turn-around time that I will be without a phone. Not happy . I would not recommend this phone to anyone just because of this problem and shipping expenses.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from manual not available online biggest problem is the manual 1) functions need a e-digit code rather than being clearly marked on buttons 2) lost manual in move and ended up having to do a live chat because even the live chat support's link didn't take me to a place where I could print out a new manual.....neither did other sites......the live chat person had to give me not only the 3-digit access code for the function I wanted but also had to type out the other steps that wouldn't have been prompted by the code

    • How do I clear New Voicemail on my handsets display?
      Your telephone is alerting you that you have a new voice message from your phone companys assigned Voice mailbox. Procedure to access your voice mailbox would vary depending on the instructions of your phone company/service provider. Once you listen to your new messages, "New Voicemail" should be cleared from the handset.

      Note: If the handset still indicates there are new messages even after you have listened to all new messages, turn it off by pressing and holding [#] until the handset beeps.

    • I have subscribed to a voice mail service offered by my telephone company. How do I stop the phone answering system from answering the calls?
      The answering system needs to be turned OFF. To turn off: Press the [MENU] button (right soft key) Press [#] [3] [2] [8] Press [OFF] Note: When the answering system is turned on, indicator is displayed.

    • Why cant I hear the dial tone?
      • Make sure that the base unit has power.
      • Check if all cords are secure and plugged in properly from the wall and from the back of the base unit.
      • Try to plug the unit to a known working jack then test again.
      • If you have a different phone on the same line, and you are also not getting a dial tone, it is possibly a line problem. If that is the case, it is advised to contact your local phone company for further assistance.

    • Why do I hear a series of beeps before my dial tone?
      If your dial tone is interrupted by several short gaps or beeps your phone company is indicating the arrival of a new voice mail message. It is the signal sent by your phone company to let users know that a message is waiting to be retrieved. If you are subscribed to a voice mail service from your provider this is normal.

    • Why does the phone display "Line in Use" or "Busy"?
      Someone might be using the line. If you have multiple handsets, please check to see if the other handsets were properly hung up or in the charger. If you have already done this, and the error "Line in use" is still appearing on the phone, check any other phones are getting a dial tone.

      If the problem persists, follow these procedure:
      1. Unplug your Panasonic phone both from the phone jack.
      2. Try relocating the telephone on a different phone jack inside the house.
      3. Try using a different line cord if you have any other available.
      4. Try using the phone at a friend or neighbors house.

    • How can I re-register my handset or register additional handsets?
      To register a handset, perform the following steps:
      1. Press [MENU] [#] [1] [3] [0] on the Handset
      2. Press and hold down the [LOCATOR] button on the base for about 5 seconds until you hear the registration tone
        If all registered handsets starts ringing, press [LOCATOR] again to stop, then repeat this step, procedure needs to be completed within 90 seconds
      3. Press [OK] on the handset

    • How do I deregister a handset which is no longer in use?
      To deregister a handset, you will need to follow the below steps:
      1. Press [MENU] [#] [1] [3] [1]
      2. Press [▲]/[▼] to select the handset
      3. Press [SELECT]
      4. Press [▲]/[▼] to select "YES"
      5. Press [SELECT] to deregister the handset

    • What do I need to do if I have a new or replacement telephone handset I am unable to register to my base unit?
      If you have attempted to register a new or replacement handset to your base unit and it has failed to register the new or replacement unit, you may have exceeded the number of handsets that can be registered to your base unit. It is important to remember when replacing a defective handset, or adding a new handset you cannot exceed 6 handsets. Additionally, if a handset is being replaced the old handset must be deregistered to ensure your base unit has space available for the new or replacement unit.     • How do I setup/change my remote access code for my answering machine?
      A remote access code must be entered to operating the answering system remotely. This code prevents unauthorized parties from listening to your messages when your away from home. To setup or change your remote code, perform one of the following procedures below using your cordless handset:
      1. Press [MENU] [#] [3] [0] [6] on the handset
      2. Key in your preferred 3 digit remote access code
      3. Press [OK] or [SAVE]

      1. Press [MENU] and scroll down by pressing [▲] or [▼] until "Answering Device" is displayed, then press [OK]
      2. Press your [▲] or [▼] repeatedly until "Setting" is displayed, then press [OK]

      4. Key in your preferred 3 digit code

      To change the ringer tone of the handset. Press [MENU] on the handset then press [OK] to Select "INITIAL SETTING". Press [OK] again for "RINGER SETTING". Press [▲] or [▼] repeatedly to get to "RINGER TONE" then press [OK] you can choose from the selection on the phone by pressing [▲] or [▼] Press [OK] to select your desired ringer tone.
