One-Touch Call Block With dedicated Call Block buttons on both base unit and handset, it's easier than ever to block telemarketers, robocallers and others — even while the phone is ringing or while talking. A simple push of a button instantly registers the unwanted number into the phone's 250-number call block database, and you can manually register any number, any time you want.
Talking Caller ID When a call comes in the handset will announce the name of the caller.
Clearly Hear Who's Calling with Noise Reduction Whether someone's calling from a busy city street or inside from a raucous room, Noise Reduction automatically suppresses background interference while also enhancing voice tones for clearer, more comfortable conversation.
Keep Tabs On the Baby Day or Night With the built-in baby monitor, you'll always know your child is safe in their crib or room. When the child wakes up or starts crying, a monitoring handset in the baby's room sends an immediate alert to the system's base unit, and to any phone or cellphone number you store in the handset for optimal peace of mind in or out of the house.
Keep Talking When the Power Goes Out The phone's powerful battery backup system keeps you connected in the event of a power outage. And when you keep a charged handset in the base unit, you'll have up to 7 hours of talk time of battery power backup for making and receiving calls during power outages using other cordless handsets in the house. (Two AA-size rechargeable Ni-MH batteries not included.)
Find Household Keys in an Instant With a small, optional detector device on your household or car keychain, this Key Detector-ready phone system lets you quickly locate misplaced keys when you need them with a button on the cordless handsets.
Big, Bright LCDs for Maximum Readability Clearly and quickly see numbers, alerts and calling info in any light conditions on the base unit's large, high-contrast 2.5-inch LCD and on super-clear handset LCDs.

KX-TGF34 is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 67.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Use of Menue I've had the phone system for about a week now, and like it very much. The only feature I don't like is having to enter codes to access many features. However I may be doing something wrong. If there is an easier way to access some of the features I'd appreciate a response. Thanking you in advance.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from works good, but has shortcomings A lot better range than previous Panasonic phones I have had. The range extender makes it even better. I miss that it has no indicator light on the handsets to alert you at a glance if you have a message on the answering machine. I also would like to know the IQ of a design engineer that designs a phone that if set face down on a desk--It presses the buttons!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfectly Fine Base unit mounts to wall closer than virtually all other wall mountable phones. Handsets are comfortable, clear conversations, no interference and very long range. If you follow the instructions, it's not hard to make adjustments to settings. I really like the simplicity of blocking unwanted calls -- press a button on the handset and that's it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Despite all the negative parts of comments I read this unit does everything that we wanted it to do. My wife has a hearing problem but she can hear just fine with this phone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to Set Up Phones These phones replace an older version. They were easy to set up and even though I am hearing impaired I can use them successfully. They arrived promptly and in excellent condition. My only negative is the date and time must be re-set almost after each use. It loses minutes with each phone call. I wish they had a clock that set automatically once a phone call was received and the time held. With the time being off you can't be sure recorded messages were actually received when the recorder says they were. Other than that they would rate Excellent from me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Phonebook transfer Just got it and found I cannot transfer my phonebook from my old Panasonic to this. BIG disappointment. Loved my old phones and replaced because I figured it was due. Now I will have to spend a LOT of time copying all the 160 plus numbers.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Incompatible with Neck Loop I bought this phone because of its advertised features. I have a severe hearing loss and have been using a Clear Sounds A300 phone (analog) with a Clear Sounds CLA7-V2 neck loop to put sound directly into my hearing aids. I assumed that my neck loop would work with this phone also by plugging it into the headset jack. I was wrong. When I plugged in the neck loop, I could hear fine, However, I could not send out my voice through the neck loop. Apparently, the headset jack only works in one direction and that is audio out. You cannot put audio in into this jack. I tried it with all three phone instruments with the same result. Therefore, I could rule out one bad instrument. There appears to be an incompatibility with this phone model and neck loops. So, I returned the phone. If you use a neck loop with your hearing aids, this phone will not work for you.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not quite sure yet I have been using it for less than one week. There has been some problems with receiving calls and reception. I will give it some more time. I have had Panasonic phones for many years, although I have had many problems with my phone service. I don't know if it is my inside wire maintenance or the area.
