Features

Panasonic's Amplified phone is designed to enable consumers with hearing loss, vision impairments and arthritis to comfortably handle and operate the handset with ease.

DECT 6.0 PLUS

Dect Plus technology takes the superb sound quality and outstanding range of DECT 6.0 phones to a whole new level. By increasing the frequency of error correction by up to 80x, the transmission quality is improved and the phone's range is extended. Engineered to work in 1.9GHz frequency, our DECT 6.0 phones won't conflict with common wireless devices such as 2.4GHz routers, wireless keyboards and mice, microwave ovens and other household items. And because it's digital, you'll enjoy long range and clear sound while deterring eavesdropping.

TALKING CALLER ID

Now you can hear who's calling from across the room without having to get up. Using text-to-speech technology. Panasonic phones featuring Talking Caller ID that announces caller ID information in between rings. What could be more convenient?

INTELLIGENT ECO MODE

This feature automatically lowers the power consumption when you're using the handset close to the base unit. Not only does it extend the available talk time, it's good for the environment. When less power is used by the handset to communicate with the base unit, battery life is prolonged which results in less frequent charging and can result in fewer batteries in landfills.

TONE EQUALIZER

Everyone hears differently. To maximize clarity or accommodate hearing loss, Panasonic added the Tone Equalizer to all 2011 models. This exclusive feature actually lets you control the bass, mid-range, or treble tones in a callers voice for maximum clarity.

SILENT MODE

Now you can program each handset to ring or not at your discretion. For example, before you go to sleep, set the bedside handset to Silent Mode so that it won't ring for the duration of your slumber. In the meantime, the handset in another room is unaffected, and rings as usual.

NON SLIP HANDSET

Multi-tasking while you are talking on a cordless handset whether it's jotting down a quick note, pouring a glass of juice or folding a few pieces of laundry is often difficult due to the tendency of the handset to slip as you cradle it on your shoulder. The rubberized grip helps prevent slipping, making it easier and more comfortable to cradle the phone when you want to work with your hands.

Reviews

KX-TG6592T is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 20.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cordless phone The phone replaced an earlier Panasonic two station model that we had for 4-5 years. The older phone simply wore out. The new phone replacing it, had all the older features but with a larger screen and some nice additions. We were very pleased with the purchase and it was easy to program and worked from installation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Nice Phone It has been about 3 months now with the new Panasonic # KX-TG6592T phone and we still like it. We like the voice announcements of who is calling along with the ring of a new call. The sound quality of people talking is crisp and clear. The caller ID works well no issues, the battery life has not let us down yet, we can talk along time and still have battery life left before we set it back into the stand. The only issue we have is the answering machine does not indicate the number of messages, it just blinks letting you know there is a message. So I would recommend this phone to my friends.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not sure about purchase I purchased this phone about a week ago and the number 2 headset takes a long time to charge the phone. Sometimes the charging light is on in the morning after charging all night. This does not make me happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy in Every Way I bought this to replace my old Panasonic which I had had for many many years. This model was so easy to order from the Panasonic website, was delivered promptly and was so easy to switch out with my old phone. I particularly appreciate how easy it is to read the screen and all the features. I'm so glad that I updated to this model and look forward for many years of use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good choice Very easy to use. Though love to have more speed dial memory. Durable product for an not so expensive product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A big success with an elderly hard-of-hearing It was simple to install and so far has been a big success. There may be many features that the person using the phone will never need but for now he's happy to be reconnected to the world. I also appreciated the online help I received when searching for the product, and also for the phone contact when I had problems with payment details. Even if they all call themselves Jessica! Panasonic products have always been of steady high quality, ever since my first answering machin in the 1990s and followed my instincts when choosing a phone for my elderly father. I was right.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Panasonic Phone Purchased this phone for my parents who insist on having a home phone. They love it! My Dad has a hard time hearing (who won't admit it might be time for a hearing aid) but finds this phone easy to hear the other people on it. Very pleased with this product I would highly recommend.
