Features

Convenience for Everyone

The reliable, full-featured Panasonic KX-TG958 series system is the smart 2-line business, home and home office solution designed to make calling, messaging and conferencing easier and more convenient for everyone. Expandable to 12 cordless handsets, no landline required.

Secure, Long-Range Signal

Designed with DECT 6.0 Plus, this advanced phone system takes signal transmission range to a whole new level to ensure clear sound and added reliability throughout the home or office. DECT 6.0 also provides signal security to deter eavesdropping. And its enhanced signal strength won't interfere or conflict with routers, wireless keyboards, microwaves and other devices.

Advanced 2-Line Calling and Messaging

With the convenience and control of two lines plus a handset, you can easily manage all your calls and voice messaging. Use both lines to handle your growing business needs or keep work and home separate with a dedicated line for each.

An advanced answering system lets you create separate greetings and voice message recording for each line, for a total of 60 minutes of voicemail. Plus send messages automatically to a designated cell or other phone when you're away.

Sync Four Smart/Cellphones

With Link2Cell you can easily sync up to four smartphones and cellphones to make and receive mobile calls using any cordless handset, everywhere you have one. So while your cell is charging or sitting in your briefcase or downstairs in your coat pocket, cellphone calls are automatically routed to your handsets. You can assign a distinctive ringtone to your handsets to distinguish cell calls from other calls.

3-Way Conferencing

Conduct three conversations simultaneously from your phone and two others. Conference loud and clear—and hands-free—with high-quality speakers in the base unit and handsets, and use enhanced noise reduction to suppress surrounding noise when conferencing-in calls from noisy locations.

Call from Your PC with Outlook®

Connect your phone to your business or home office PC via USB to make outgoing calls to your Outlook® contacts, plus receive incoming calls with a single click.

To make a call from Outlook®, simply highlight the person's name on your contact list, activate the speakerphone function on the base unit or cordless handset, and click. No need to dial. And to answer calls, simply click the incoming caller pop-up window on your display to talk hands-free on your speakerphone while you're working.

Battery Power Backup

Even when the lights go out, a powerful battery back-up system keeps you connected for up to 75 minutes during outages with two long-lasting rechargeable AAA Ni-MH batteries (included) in the base unit.

Additional Features

Bright, Quick-Read LCDs

Clearly see numbers and calling info in any light conditions on a large, adjustable 3.4-inch white backlit LCD on the base unit and on crisp, super-clear handset LCDs.

Talking Caller ID

Hear who's calling from across the room without having to get up with text-to-speech announcements from the base unit and handsets throughout the home or office.

Call Block

Block up to 250 numbers.

Phonebook Transfer

Transfer and update up to 3,000 names and numbers from your smart/cellphones to the built-in directory via Bluetooth®. Ideal for those who continually add contacts to their smartphone.

Instant Dialing

Enjoy the convenience of 22 speed dials, one-touch dialing for up to 10 most frequently called numbers, including individual handset names for instant intercom use.

Text Alerts

Get instant notification on your handsets when texts are received on your cell or smartphone.

Key Detector

Add a small detector device to your keychain or other often-misplaced items, then find them when you need them with a button on the cordless handsets.

KX-TG958 is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Speakerphone is Junk! Who designed this phone! Lots of people are scratching their heads about why they didn't put a hold button on the cordless handset, but I am wondering why in the world would they design such a great phone and then put a 1/2 duplex speakerphone in it...?? Don't buy this phone if you like to use the speakerphone (as I do). It will not work for you unless you are used to talking to people on a walkie-talkie.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Win-10 support IS available Several comments have said Windows-10 support for the software is not available. I found that the disc shipped with the product is indeed not compatible. BUT if you go the the website there IS a Windows-10 Version. I downloaded it an it works perfectly. I found it here: http://panasonic.net/pcc/support/tel/tg958.html

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best ever This 958 is the best phone we have ever owned. From announcing the caller ID to also picking up your cell phone calls on the same phone is awesome. No longer a need to hunt down your cell phone in the house. We are so satisfied with this phone that we are purchasing an additional set for our other residence. We are currently running this base unit with 5 extensions without any hassle or problem. Shame on you ATT that you have never attempted to deliver such quality and creative phone. The extensions work every bit as well as the base unit, and the answering machine is clear and efficient. No longer a need to fidget for the hold button; as you answer the second line the hold button is automatically engaged. In addition, the extensions use simple AAA rechargeable batteries so that when it is time to replace them you don't have to go to the internet to find some far-off unknown supplier. Simple eneloop rechargeable batteries, which we use in every other gadget in the house, do the trick. WHat can be better than that.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from unless you have a tech handy, not the phone for yo the instructions are very hard to read & understand-to try to figure things out without having some one there whom can help is frustrating at best-to get help is also hard to do, as trying to find a number where you can talk to a person is not easy to find, either

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hold button is hard to find as its not on the phon You have to go through the menu to get to the hold button which for work when you're in a hurry it is very frusterating. I would rather have the old version of the phone with a actual hold button. It's still a nice phone and works very well. Better thank any other I have used even with a hold button.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from its a good phone, I only wish it had an off/on ringer. It also does not have a missed call blinking light which would be helpful with my small office. It's a perfect size. I like the large buttons & view screen. Ringer sound is good and I absolutely love the cordless phone it came with, that is extremely convenient!
