KX-TGM430B is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Panasonic ONLY has a 30 day return policy I called and spoke with an agent to place my phone order. Nothing was told to me about the return policy. On my confirmation e-mail of my purchase still nothing about a return policy. It is only on the via e-mail that you get when your order is shipped out. At the very bottom you would have to click on Terms & Conditions. I received my phone on Feb. 28th. It too early to determine if the problem was my phone or the other persons phone that I was speaking to. I will get weekly dropped calls they just disconnect while in a conversation. A few times my handsets will even lose a charge after about 6 hours being off the cradle. I did not ask for a call slip to return my phones for a refund until April 26th at which time I was told that returns are only in the first 30 days period. I can now send my phone at my cost back to them for repair is my only options because of being past this 30 days. IF I had purchase this phone at like Best Buy they would have return this product without questions. I am very upset with Panasonic for not disclosing this policy on their returns prior to me placing my order and not standing behind there product for more than 30 days. Phones are hard to tell initially where the problem is for it doesn't happen every day and every call. It takes a few weeks to tweak it and see where the problem really is. So, No I would never use Panasonic product now nor every for sure order on line. I am almost 60 years old and am not a big on line buyer anyways. So this for sure will keep me from gravitating to the purchasing something on line. For those of you who are much older than I this phone will be too heavy for you and the hearing out of it is very strange. I for sure would not gravitate to this produce. I do not think you will be happy with it all and all. I say stick with a lighter phone would be my recommendation. Speed dialing is awful too. I love speed dialing. This is not a true speed dialing type of phone. Just not a lot about this phone not user friendly I think. In comparison to all my other phones I have used my whole life this is the worse one. As well as having to wait on line when I placed my complaint call before I even knew about this 30 days return policy for 34 mins. at which time my phone disconnect when I heard them try to click on. Someone came to the phone I think but like I said my phone drops calls. Had to call them back. This initial person had to personally make the transfer to this warranty dept. on my behalf and then she made sure I was on before she dropped off. They told me to sent my e-mail of my receipt along with the case number they gave me and what my problem was. It did not make any difference they stand behind their 30 days period end of story and that is all there is to it. I can return at my cost and wait 7 days business days after they receive it on a resolution for them to repair my phone. So probably looking at 2-3 weeks min. without my phone and this is IF I paid to return it at my cost of shipment. They also put in a claimer that Panasonic is not responsible for damage that occurs in transit. So recommending you to insure your package too and use a good shipping company. But they will cover the repair cost for up to an year after purchase to repair your damage phone . A very Unhappy Customer in Gahanna, OHIO

Rated 4 out of 5 by from quality product. Always satisfied with Panasonic. This is an edited and increased rating by me for the KX-TGM430 The base unit & extra cordless. Initially I rated it poorly because the Panasonic headphone distorted the sound but it was because I had the Panasonic KX-TCA430 headset volume turned to high. So here is my more accurate assessment. Very sturdy, lots of features. Volume BOOST works well. There are TONE adjustments that increase base or treble. The Panasonic headset KX-TCA430 is excellent with volume & mute, do not turn volume too high, but rather turn up the volume, if needed, on the phone itself. The volume control is poorly located since the hand so easily hits the toggle switch. Panasonic did not not post my original negative review. I think that jades the process of viewing ALL reviews. Even though I was wrong. I did post the negative review on Amazon but have since corrected my error which was caused by the headset volume turned to high.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Features High Quality Phone This phone is perfect for families with small children, elderly grandparents, late middle age and anyone with some hearing loss or who speaks very softly. The set-up is fast and easy. The features are easy to use with large well-marked short-cut buttons. The features are customizable. This phone amplifies both the caller's and the call recipient's voices so both sides of the call can be heard and understood. The "slow-talk" feature is great for phone messages in which the caller spoke so quickly it used to take three or more tries just to understand the call back number. linking cell phones to it is a great feature as you can answer your cell phone from this phone. This phone has the same form factor as previous models and isn't excessively weighty or hard to hold in your hand - unless perhaps you are frail.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from To big & heavy to hold, otherwise great phone! i needed something with a louder speak volume on the headset and speakerphone usage. This does that. I also wanted the new 'Link2Cell' features. It does that great! The Bad: It to heavy and large to hold. I'm not sure why they had to make this phone so heavy and so large. My hands don't fit comfortably on it. it really to 'thick', I can handle the length and width but the thickness or depth is too much to hold. And since this phone is obviously with people with needs, The old fashion way of searching for a store contact is hard, it takes too long if you have a lot of contacts. Why not include a voice search to search for a contact. Most cellphones you can speak the name of the person to call and it dials the number. I'm sure this can be added. Rob
