My husband and I have the Oly 45mm and while that's great, this one wins because it performs the same if not better, priced very competitively and has POWER OIS!

Great lens for portraits. Fast f1.7 apeture for great low light and bokeh. Very sharp, fast focus and at a good price.

This is absolutely great portrait and low light lens. It is a really great addition to several Panasonic zooms that I own. The lens is great for portraits, gives nice bokeh and wonderful separation of the subject and background. Very nice and fast focusing in difficult lighting conditions.
I have been wanting this lens ever since I saw a demo unit at WPPI in Vegas this year.
I love it.
