This F2.8 45mm (35mm camera equivalent: 90mm) macro lens with built-in image stabilizer lets you take close-ups that capture your subjects in their actual size. It also greatly boosts mobility by serving as a medium-length telephoto lens for portraits, telephoto snapshots and landscapes.
A superb image quality with minimum distortion, chromatic aberrations as well as ghosts and flares that passes a stringent Leica standard
An aspherical lens and an ED lens for a superb optical performance
An inner focus system of three groups of floating structure which enables excellent resolution and contrast without changing its overall length from full life-size magnification to infinity.
Rated 5 out of 5 by aphotoman Making the world pop one macro shot at a time
I bought this because I'd already started taking pictures of every flower I came across, so the leap to full 1:1 macro seemed natural. Since then, it's spent entire days fixed on my camera. I love it. It's relatively heavy for a Micro 4/3 lens, but that's because of all the good glass in there. The pictures are sharp, I've never noticed any CA, and it definitely lets me get close. It also doubles as a convenient 90mm-equivalent length portrait lens - great for pics of friends or candid street shots.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ciocc Always like having a macro
Lightweight, well-balanced, sharp, great for portraits and macro ie flowers, etc. I love single focal length lenses. While I have
the kit zoom lens. My favorite lenses are the 20mm and the reviewed 45mm.
