Panasonic Eco Solutions North America Partners with Habitat for Humanity for a Weeklong Blitz Building Project
Panasonic Eco Solutions North America will lend its support to help nearly 250 families build strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter during Habitat for Humanity’s annual Home Builders Blitz, June 6-10.
The Home Builder Blitz relies on local professional builders to provide labor, funding and materials while coordinating the project through its completion. The various corporate partnerships allow Habitat to build more homes for families without the usual tasks of raising funds and recruiting volunteers.
“Panasonic is excited to continue our partnership with Habitat for Humanity, helping create affordable housing for those that need it most,” said Dan Silver, President, Panasonic Eco Solutions North America. “This year alone, Panasonic has donated over 900 energy-efficient ventilation solutions, 280 of which will be used by 51 Habitat affiliates during the Builders Blitz to provide healthy indoor air to families across the country.”
For the last three years, Panasonic has partnered with Habitat for Humanity through Home Builders Blitz, contributing over 1050 ventilation fans including models that are ENERGY STAR ® certified to help more families achieve the strength, stability and self-reliance they need to build a better life.
Since 2002, professional builders throughout the country have collaborated with Habitat for Humanity to help families build or repair more than 1,500 homes during five other Home Builders Blitz events.
